Gas supply will be suspended for 12 hours in all areas of Monohardi Upazila, Kishoreganj, and Narsingdi districts from 6:00 PM on Wednesday. Titas Gas issued a notice on Tuesday announcing the disruption.

According to the notice, Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) has initiated modification work at the Monohardi Gas Metering Station. As a result, gas supply from this station to Monohardi DRS and Kishoreganj DRS via the PSIG gas pipeline will be suspended from 6:00 PM on Wednesday (February 5) to 6:00 AM on Thursday (February 6), totaling 12 hours. Due to this, the entire Kishoreganj district and Monohardi Upazila will experience a gas supply shutdown.

Additionally, areas such as Narsingdi, Rupganj, the eastern part of Dhaka metropolitan city, Kaliganj, Joydebpur, Konabari, Chandra, and surrounding regions may experience low gas pressure.

Titas Gas authorities have apologized to customers for any inconvenience caused by the temporary suspension of gas supply.
