The advisory council approved the list of government holidays for next year at a meeting held at the Chief Adviser’s Office, Tajgaon in the capital on Thursday.
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam confirmed the development at a press briefing held at the Foreign Service Academy after the meeting.
The total number of holidays will be 28 days, nine of which will be Fridays and Saturdays.
