The company confirmed that Grameenphone users across the country faced a 45-minute interruption in 4G services on Wednesday afternoon due to technical issues.
On Wednesday around 4:30 PM, numerous Grameenphone users reported an unexpected loss of 4G connectivity, leaving them unable to access mobile data services. The disruption lasted approximately 45 minutes, with services gradually resuming after 5:15 PM.
In an official statement, Grameenphone acknowledged the issue, stating, “Due to a technical glitch, some of our customers experienced network disruptions for a short period. Our technical team worked promptly to resolve the issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this temporary interruption.”
The mobile operator did not specify the exact cause of the disruption but assured that measures are being taken to prevent future occurrences.
