The Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight BG 585 took off with the body from Singapore Changi International Airport at 4:03pm local time, BSS reported quoting Biman’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr Md Shafiqur Rahman.
“The flight is expected to reach the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 5:50pm,” Shafiqur Rahman told BSS.
Inqilab Moncho, where Hadi was the spokesperson, said on a facebook post that upon reaching the airport, the uprising leader’s body would be taken to the Dhaka University Central Mosque for the general people to bid their final farewell.
The group asked all Hadi supporters to line both sides of the airport-Shahbagh route in an orderly manner.
It also asked the student-people to keep the roads “occupied,” awaiting instructions only from the group. Inqilab Moncho would soon announce stringent movement and continue demonstrations until justice is ensured, it added on its verified facebook page.
