On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Bangladesh football stars Hamza Choudhury and Jamal Bhuiyan shared heartfelt messages with their fans, despite celebrating the festival miles apart.
While newly debuted national team player Hamza Choudhury is in England, team captain Jamal Bhuiyan is marking Eid in his own setting. However, both took a moment to connect with their supporters through a video message released by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
Hamza conveyed his warm wishes, saying, “Eid Mubarak from my family and me. May Allah keep everyone well. Hope to see you all soon, InshaAllah.”
Jamal also extended his greetings: “Eid Mubarak! I hope everyone is having a wonderful time with their family. Stay healthy and well. Allah Hafez.”
Recently, Bangladesh played a goalless draw against India in the Asian Cup qualifiers. While Jamal was absent from the starting lineup, Hamza made an impressive debut in the national jersey.
Looking ahead, Bangladesh will face Singapore in their next Asian Cup qualifier on June 10 in Dhaka, where Hamza is expected to return. Meanwhile, other national team players will continue competing in domestic football tournaments.
Although the Eid celebrations will soon end, preparations for the next battle on the field will begin shortly. Before that, these two football icons made sure to share their festive spirit with their loyal fans.
