The Ministry of Health has made 29 civil surgeons “Officers on Special Duty” (OSD). The order was issued on Sunday through a notification from the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The notification was signed by the Ministry’s Deputy Secretary, Sonjida Shormin.
The notification states that the transferred or appointed officials must join their new positions by March 6. If they fail to do so, they will be considered immediately released from their current posts starting from March 9. This order, issued in the public interest, is effective immediately.
