Yemen’s Houthi rebels have threatened to launch missile and drone attacks on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport as well as other strategic targets in retaliation for what they describe as ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and Yemen.

In a bold escalation, Yemen’s Houthi movement has announced plans to carry out military operations targeting Israeli airports, with Ben Gurion Airport named as a primary target. The group claims the attacks are in direct response to Israeli actions in Gaza and what it calls repeated aggression in Yemen.

The warning was issued Monday morning through a series of tweets by Houthi spokesperson Nasr al-Din Amer, as reported by Middle East Monitor. In one of the tweets, Amer stated, “Within the next few hours, Yemen’s armed forces will carry out military operations targeting Ben Gurion Airport and other Zionist airports.”

He further warned: “All aircraft must immediately evacuate the area, and everyone at the airport—especially foreigners—should leave for their own safety.”

Later, the Houthis claimed responsibility for launching missiles and drones toward Ben Gurion Airport and another unspecified critical site in Jaffa. The extent of any damage or casualties has not yet been confirmed by Israeli authorities.

This marks one of the most direct threats from the Houthis against Israeli territory, signaling a possible intensification of regional tensions as the conflict in Gaza continues to reverberate across the Middle East.
