Due to the ongoing flood situation in several regions of the country, today’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under three education boards have been suspended.

The exams scheduled for Thursday (10 July) under the Comilla, Madrasa, and Technical Education Boards, have been postponed because of the severity of the floods.

The sudden flooding has inundated educational institutions and disrupted communication systems, prompting the authorities to take this decision to reduce the suffering of students.

This information was announced through official notices issued by the respective education boards.

As a result of this decision, hundreds of thousands of examinees across the country are now left waiting. However, the boards have clarified that only the July 10 exams have been postponed. Examinations on subsequent days will be held as per the previously announced schedule.

The boards further stated that a new schedule for the postponed exams will be announced soon via official websites and notices. Students are advised to stay updated by regularly checking with their institutions and following the instructions from their respective boards.

Comilla Education Board Exam Postponed

Due to heavy rainfall and upstream flooding, areas in Feni and Noakhali districts have been submerged, leading the Comilla Board to suspend Thursday’s HSC exams. However, exams from July 13 onwards will continue as scheduled. A new date for the suspended exam will be announced later through a notice.
