Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is set to visit Jammu and Kashmir to interact with BSF personnel and their families, aiming to spotlight both the region’s scenic charm and the sacrifices of its protectors.
As part of her special visit, Huma will spend time not only with Indian border guards but also with their families at the Suchetgarh border post. A cultural event showcasing traditional Kashmiri heritage by local artists will be held, where Huma will attend as a guest of honor.
Sources close to the actress reveal that she had long wished to engage with those who protect the nation and to highlight the warmth and hospitality of the Kashmiri people—an aspect often overlooked by mainstream narratives.
Huma’s initiative seeks to portray Kashmir not just as a strategic region but as a vibrant cultural and tourism hub. She plans to explore the valley’s natural beauty and share her experiences on social media to encourage tourism.
Beyond this humanitarian mission, Huma remains active on screen. She will soon appear in Malik opposite Rajkummar Rao, and in Jolly LLB 3 alongside Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. Her upcoming projects also include Pooja Meri Jaan, Yash’s film Toxic, and the new season of the political web series Maharani.
Through this visit, Huma Qureshi not only pays tribute to the brave but also sets an example of social responsibility in the world of cinema.
