Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Indian extremists launched an attack on the Pakistan High Commission in London, causing visible damage to the diplomatic premises.
According to a report published in Daily Times on Sunday, Indian extremists stormed the Pakistan High Commission in London, breaking windows and vandalizing the building. Orange paint was hurled at the white walls and the outer signboard, leaving visible marks from a distance.
The attack followed a violent protest staged by Indian groups outside the High Commission a day earlier. London police arrested two Indian protesters on Saturday for acts of violence during the ongoing demonstrations, which have stretched over two consecutive days.
This incident comes amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the killing of 26 tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. India has blamed Pakistan for the deadly assault, while Pakistan has challenged India to allow an impartial investigation.
Authorities in London have launched an investigation into the attack on the diplomatic facility, according to the latest reports.
