Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned India’s missile strikes on nine locations inside Pakistan as “cowardly” and vowed a decisive response.
In a strongly worded statement issued Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif denounced India’s overnight missile attacks on nine sites across Pakistan, calling them “a despicable act of aggression” that would not go unpunished.
“The entire nation stands united behind our brave armed forces,” he said, adding, “Pakistan has the full right to respond to this unprovoked aggression, and we are already delivering an appropriate and resolute reply.”
Sharif emphasized the readiness of the Pakistani people and military to confront and defeat any threat. “Our courage and determination remain unshaken. The enemy will never be allowed to succeed in its malicious intentions.”
He also extended prayers and best wishes for the country’s security forces, praising their bravery and sacrifice in the face of rising tensions with India.
