Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tazul Islam on Thursday announced that certain amendments are being made to the International Crimes Tribunal Act.
Speaking to the media on Thursday afternoon, Tazul Islam said the government is moving forward with updates to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Act to address legal gaps and improve prosecution efficiency.
Liberty News’ court correspondent states that he also stated that a request will be made to issue red notices against 10 accused individuals, including former ministers Obaidul Quader and Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, who are currently abroad and evading trial.
