Iran Unveils ‘Gaza’ Drone in Honor of 15-Month-Long Conflict in Gaza Strip. In recognition of the 15-month-long ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, Iran has unveiled a drone named ‘Gaza.’ The drone will be used in border security operations, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“On Sunday (January 26), Mehr News Agency reported this information.”

In a press release from the IRGC, it was stated that this unmanned drone, with a range of 1,000 kilometers and capable of carrying at least 500 kilograms of payload, successfully struck eight mock targets on Sunday.

This drone, weighing 3,100 kilograms, can fly at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The operational range of the “Gaza” drone is estimated to be around 4,000 kilometers. It is capable of carrying 12 bombs at once.

The report further states that this initiative was taken to honor the 15-month-long struggle of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Liberty News’ international correspondent reports that in the Israel-Hamas conflict that began on October 7, 2023, more than 47,000 Palestinians have been killed. However, a ceasefire took effect in the Gaza Strip on January 19 of this year. Since the beginning of the war, Iran has been providing exclusive support to the fighters in Gaza.
