Israel has closed its airspace to all incoming and outgoing flights until further notice, citing “recent developments,” according to the Israel Airports Authority.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the authority said, “The airspace of the State of Israel is closed to entry and exit due to recent developments.” However, it clarified that land border crossings with Egypt and Jordan remain open and are functioning normally.
The move comes amid heightened tensions in the region following ongoing military operations involving Israel, Iran, and other regional actors.
