Israeli forces have killed Yassin Abdel Moneim Ezzedine, a senior Hezbollah artillery commander operating in the Litani sector of southern Lebanon, according to a statement by the Israeli military’s Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee.
Adraee claimed that Ezzedine played a key role in directing attacks towards Israel and was involved in rebuilding Hezbollah’s artillery capabilities.
Hezbollah has not yet commented on the reported killing. The development comes amid escalating cross-border tensions between Israel and the Lebanese armed group.
