Despite Eid being a globally celebrated festival, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have continued unabated, killing at least 80 more Palestinians. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the total death toll in the besieged territory has now reached 50,357, with over 305 injured in the last 48 hours.

The ministry’s report, released on Monday, highlighted the relentless attacks on Gaza, leaving most of the injured without access to advanced medical care. The total number of wounded individuals has now risen to 114,400.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported the recovery of 15 bodies from southern Gaza’s Rafah, an area heavily targeted by Israeli forces. PRCS stated that eight of the deceased were its own staff, six were civil defense personnel, and one was a United Nations-affiliated worker.

In a statement issued on Sunday (March 30), PRCS confirmed that the victims were targeted while attempting to provide medical aid. The attack occurred in Rafah’s Hashashin area, where Israeli forces continued heavy shelling.

The organization condemned the assault on medical personnel, emphasizing that such attacks could constitute war crimes under international humanitarian law. PRCS accused Israel of repeatedly violating human rights with impunity before the eyes of the world.
