The Israeli military has indicated that its campaign against Iran is far from over, with a growing list of targets yet to be hit. Officials suggest the operation has expanded well beyond military sites, encompassing scientific advisers and key infrastructure linked to Iran’s nuclear programme.

Israel says the main objective remains to prevent Iran from enriching uranium to the point of building a nuclear weapon. It also continues to press the United States for access to bunker-busting bombs capable of destroying fortified underground sites like Fordow.

The Israeli military has cautioned its citizens to brace for a protracted conflict. Since the escalation began, more than 450 ballistic missiles and over 400 drones have been launched from Iran, according to Israeli sources. Overnight, 40 drones were reportedly fired, with at least one breaching Israel’s air defence systems.

The intensifying exchange underscores the scale of the confrontation, with both sides showing no immediate signs of de-escalation.
