BNP leader Jainul Abdin Faruk claims the newly formed National Citizen Party (NCP) is creating chaos to delay the national elections.
Jainul Abdin Faruk, BNP’s advisory council member and former opposition chief whip, accused the National Citizen Party (NCP) of attempting to delay the national elections. Speaking at a citizens’ rally organized by the “Gonotontro Forum” in Dhaka, Faruk criticized the NCP for causing disruptions and urged for a roadmap to be quickly issued for the elections.
Faruk stressed the need for a neutral election to reflect the people’s expectations, adding that the current government should not delay the process. He also reiterated that the country needs a government by elected representatives to hold accountable those in power.
