Popular rock icon Nagarbaul James has become a father once again. The musician shared the joyous news of his marriage and fatherhood with the media recently.
James tied the knot with Bangladeshi-American expat Namia Amin last year. In June this year, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Gibran Anam. Gibran was born on 8 June 2025 at Huntington Hospital in New York. After spending about a month in the United States, the couple returned to Bangladesh with their newborn.
Expressing his overwhelming emotions about becoming a father again, James said,“It is impossible to explain this feeling—I cannot find the words. But I will say this much: I thank God for giving me a healthy child. Everyone, please pray for the mother and the baby.”
According to sources, James met Namia in June 2023 during an event in Los Angeles. What began as a friendly meeting soon blossomed into love, leading to marriage a year later. The two were married in a private ceremony in Dhaka on 12 June 2024, attended by close family members.
Namia, James’ third wife, was born in the United States and holds a degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College in New York.
James was previously married to film actress Rothi in 1991, with whom he has a son and a daughter. The couple divorced in 2003. He later married Benazir Sajjad, but the marriage ended amicably in 2014.
