Following the boycott of the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) organized a protest march on the campus on Thursday night.
The march began around 8:15 pm from the front of the university’s New Kala Bhaban and proceeded along the road in front of the JUCSU Election Commission office, heading towards the university’s Transport Square.
During the march, Chhatra Dal leaders and activists chanted slogans such as “Boycott, boycott, boycott JUCSU” and “Farce of JUCSU, boycott, boycott” during the march.
Both current and former Chhatra Dal leaders actively participated in the protest.
