More than 50 percent of voters had cast their ballots by 2:00 pm in the JUCSU and hall union elections, according to Professor Mafruhi Sattar, a member of the JUCSU Election Commission.
She made the statement around 2:45 pm on Thursday.
Professor Mafruhi Sattar said, “So far, more than 50 percent of voters have voted. At some centers, polling was temporarily halted due to isolated incidents. We have instructed officials at those centers to allow voting for a while longer if voters arrive after the scheduled time.”
