On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and the party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with senior leaders in a virtual event on Monday night.
The event, held at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan at 9 PM, was moderated by BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku. Both Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman joined virtually from London to connect with party leaders.
Among the attendees were BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Chowdhury, Iqbal Mahmud Tuku, Jamir Uddin Sarkar, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, and Selima Rahman, along with Vice Chairmen Barkat Ullah Bulu and Altaf Hossain Chowdhury.
Other notable participants included Joint Secretary Generals Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Advocate Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Abdul Awal Mintoo, and Chairperson’s Advisor S.M. Fazlul Haque. Additionally, Gazipur BNP Convener K.M. Fazlul Haque Milon, Women’s Wing President Afroza Abbas, General Secretary Sultana Ahmed, and Nationalist Lawyers’ Forum President Zainul Abedin were also present.
Liberty News’ political correspondent states that the gathering provided an opportunity for BNP leaders to exchange Eid wishes and discuss the party’s future course of action.
