A violent clash over a land dispute between cousins in Cox’s Bazar’s Ukhiya resulted in the deaths of three people, including a Jamaat-e-Islami leader.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning (April 6) in the West Kutupalong area of Ukhiya. The victims have been identified as Maulana Abdullah Al Mamun, the Amir of Jamaat’s Kutupalong union, along with his cousin Abdul Mannan and his cousin’s sister Shahina Begum.
According to local sources, the clash began over a boundary wall dispute between the cousins. The victims, including the mosque’s Imam, were part of a family disagreement that escalated into violence.
