The price of a 12-kilogram LPG cylinder has decreased for the third consecutive month, falling to Tk1,364 in July from Tk1,403 in June. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the revised price on Wednesday.
In June, the LPG price had dropped by Tk28, following a Tk19 cut in May. However, the price remained unchanged in April compared to March. Despite the consistent decline in household LPG prices, the price of auto gas — the LPG used in vehicles — has been kept unchanged at Tk64.30 per litre.
