LPG prices drop

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for consumers, with the new price for a 12kg cylinder set at BDT 1,450.

In a new announcement made on Monday, the BERC revealed that the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by BDT 28, bringing the price down from BDT 1,478 to BDT 1,450. The revised price will be effective from this evening.

Liberty News’ economic correspondent states that this price adjustment is part of ongoing efforts to regulate energy costs for consumers across the country.
