Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has called on India and Pakistan to reduce rising tensions and safeguard civilians, particularly children, through dialogue and diplomacy.

In a post shared Thursday on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Malala Yousafzai urged both India and Pakistan to take immediate steps to de-escalate conflict and protect civilian lives amid growing regional unrest.

“Take steps to reduce tensions and protect civilians, especially children,” Malala wrote, adding a strong call for unity against divisive forces.

She emphasized the need for international intervention, stating, “The global community must now act to promote dialogue and diplomacy. Peace is the only path forward for our collective safety and prosperity.”

Malala’s message comes at a time of heightened strain between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, sparking concerns worldwide over potential conflict escalation.
