Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced that metro rail services will remain suspended on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The announcement came through a verified post on DMTCL’s official Facebook page on Saturday. According to the statement, metro services will be halted exclusively on Eid day, while operations on other days will continue as usual.
It is worth noting that metro rail services were also suspended on the day of Eid-ul-Azha last year.
