The interim government has extended magistracy powers for the Army, Navy, and Air Force by another two months starting Monday to maintain law and order across the country.
A notification issued Sunday by the Public Administration Ministry confirmed that officers with ranks equivalent to army captains or higher will retain these powers during the period.
This authority, initially granted on 17 September last year, has been continuously extended in two-month intervals to support civil administration in critical areas.
