BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, who attended the U.S. “National Prayer Breakfast,” are scheduled to return to Bangladesh on Sunday.
Shayerul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, confirmed on Saturday that the BNP delegation, including Fakhrul and Khosru, will arrive at Dhaka Airport from the U.S. on Sunday at 5 PM.
The National Prayer Breakfast, an event hosted by the U.S. President within the first 100 days of taking office, honors prominent global figures with a breakfast and evening dinner.
Liberty News’ political correspondent states that Fakhrul and Khosru had departed for Washington on the evening of February 2nd at 6:30 PM aboard an Emirates Airlines flight. Additionally, Barrister Zaima Rahman, representing Tarique Rahman, was part of the BNP delegation.
