BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited veteran political thinker and writer Badruddin Umar at United Hospital in Dhaka on Monday.
During the visit, Fakhrul inquired about Umar’s health condition from attending doctors and family members.
Fakhrul also conveyed the well wishes of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Earlier the same day, Badruddin Umar was admitted to the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of United Hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and a sudden drop in blood pressure. His condition is being closely monitored by medical professionals.
