Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Bangladesh. In a message sent to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, Modi conveyed his best wishes during the Islamic festival.
In his message, Prime Minister Modi stated, “On this special occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings and felicitations to you and the people of Bangladesh. As the holy month of Ramadan concludes, this joyous festival serves as an opportunity for unity, gratitude, and self-reflection.”
He further highlighted that over 200 million Muslims in India have observed Ramadan with devotion, engaging in fasting, prayers, and religious activities along with the global Muslim community. He emphasized that the spirit of Eid reinforces the values of compassion, generosity, and solidarity.
Modi also prayed for global peace, harmony, and well-being, and hoped that the friendly ties between India and Bangladesh would continue to strengthen.
“On this auspicious occasion, may the bonds of friendship between our two nations grow even stronger. Please accept my highest regards and best wishes,” Modi concluded.
