The committee announcement began at 6:15 PM, where Akhtar Hossain read out the partial organizational structure. He stated that Samanta Sharmin and Ariful Islam Adib have been named Senior Joint Conveners, while Tasnim Zara and Nahida Sarwar Nibha will serve as Senior Joint Member Secretaries.
Hasnat Abdullah has been appointed as Chief Organizer (Southern Region), and Sarjis Alam as Chief Organizer (Northern Region). Meanwhile, Nasiruddin Patwari has been designated as the Chief Coordinator, with Abdul Hannan Masud as the Senior Joint Chief Coordinator.
The party’s inauguration event commenced at 4:15 PM with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by readings from the Gita, Tripitaka, and Bible. The national anthem was then performed, and a one-minute silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising.
Liberty News’ political correspondent states that several political leaders from different parties attended the event. Additionally, leaders and supporters of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee and the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement gathered from various districts and police precincts across Dhaka at Manik Mia Avenue.
