Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel is ready to deliver the ‘final blow’ to Iran with the strong backing of U.S. President Donald Trump, emphasizing the importance of the joint strategy between Israel and the United States in this operation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on February 16 that Israel is prepared to take strong action against Iran, following a series of successful strikes on Iran’s terrorist networks over the past 16 months. Speaking alongside U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Netanyahu stated that with Trump’s leadership, they are ready to finish the job.

Netanyahu stressed that Iran must never become a nuclear power, as it would destabilize the region and the world. He also highlighted that Iran’s support for various terrorist groups is contributing to regional instability.

Secretary of State Rubio reinforced the U.S. position, stating that Iran should never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. He also called on the international community to take decisive steps against Iran’s destabilizing actions, which he linked to the violence in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.

U.S. intelligence agencies have recently issued a warning about the possibility of Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities this year, which could escalate tensions in the Middle East. However, Israel has made it clear that it will follow through with its plans.

Regarding the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu expressed agreement with Trump’s stance. He warned that if Gaza’s prisoners are not released, it would open the “gates of hell.” Trump has recently proposed a plan to place Gaza under Israeli control, displacing Palestinians, which has sparked international controversy.

Additionally, the U.S. administration has recently sent 1,800 heavy bombs to Israel, which will bolster Israel’s air and military strength for its ongoing operations. These shipments, previously blocked by the Biden administration, were authorized by Trump, further fueling tensions.

Liberty News’ international correspondent states that the situation remains tense as Israel and Hamas continue discussions on a ceasefire agreement, with talks ongoing about the release of 19 Israeli soldiers and American citizens.
