New Zealand has won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in their third match of the ICC Women’s World Cup, being played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
After an encouraging start to their campaign, Bangladesh enters the contest with renewed confidence, sitting fourth on the table with one win and one loss. Meanwhile, New Zealand placed seventh.
For Bangladesh, two changes have been made to the lineup as Sumaiya Akter and Nishita Akter Nishi come in for Ritu Moni and Shanjida Akter Meghla. On the other hand, New Zealand made one alteration, with Rosemary Mair replacing Bree Illing in the playing XI.
