One arrested with 47 rounds of ammunition in Chittagong

In a recent operation in the Bashkhali upazila of Chattogram, the police arrested a man named Mohammad Abdus Sattar. During the arrest, they seized 47 rounds of ammunition from his possession.

The arrest took place on Thursday, January 30, in front of Kabir Store at the Time Bazaar in the Shilkuup Union, along the paved road leading to Gundamara. The district’s Detective Branch (DB) police conducted the operation.

Abdus Sattar, the arrested individual, is a resident of Monkirchar Kaloo Chengrapara in the Shilkuup Union. His father’s name is Bozl Ahmed.

The Additional Superintendent of Police of the District DB, Mohammad Russell, told Liberty News’ Crime Correspondent from that a special operation was carried out, leading to the arrest of one individual with 47 rounds of ammunition. Legal action is being taken against him.
