Operation ‘Devil Hunt’ launched nationwide

To maintain law and order and bring criminals under legal action, a nationwide operation named “Operation Devil Hunt” is set to begin today (Saturday) under the coordination of joint forces.

This information was announced through a press release signed by Faisal Hasan, Director (Public Relations) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Saturday.

According to the press release, a meeting of law enforcement agencies was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs today (Saturday) following a terrorist attack on students and the public in Gazipur on Friday (February 7) night.

In the meeting, it was decided that “Operation Devil Hunt” would be conducted in coordination with joint forces to maintain law and order in the affected areas and bring the perpetrators to justice. The operation will commence today, Saturday, across Gazipur and the entire country.

Further details regarding “Operation Devil Hunt” will be provided in a press briefing scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday.

Notably, several individuals were seriously injured in an attack by supporters of the fallen government last night (Friday) in Gazipur.
