Pakistan has claimed a decisive 6-0 win against India in an aerial battle following the recent attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, according to a senior officer of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
During a joint press conference with Pakistan Army spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb of the PAF stated that six Indian aircraft were downed without any Pakistani losses. The announcement came amid escalating tensions after a militant assault in Indian-administered Kashmir.
Aurangzeb praised the PAF’s operational efficiency and expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for what he described as a “clear victory” in defending Pakistan’s sovereignty. “Whether in peace or conflict, the PAF remains fully prepared,” he said, adding that the response followed direct orders from the Air Chief.
He further noted that all incoming Indian drones and missiles were tracked, jammed, and neutralized through advanced defensive maneuvers. “We successfully disrupted their data transmissions and employed full-spectrum countermeasures,” he claimed.
Highlighting India’s strategic failure, Aurangzeb said some Indian missiles launched from Amritsar had misfired and landed in civilian areas within India. In contrast, Pakistan reportedly deployed hypersonic missiles, drones, and precision-guided systems with effective results.
He added that the Indian BrahMos missiles were intercepted and destroyed before impact, preventing a major threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty. “PAF remains vigilant, ensuring all our aircraft remained safe and combat-effective throughout the engagement,” Aurangzeb emphasized.
The claims, while dramatic, have yet to be independently verified, and the Indian government has not officially responded. Analysts caution that such announcements can intensify regional tensions and call for restraint on both sides.
