Partial solar eclipse on 21 September

A partial eclipse of the sun will occur on 21 September.

This eclipse will not be visible in Bangladesh, read a press release of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday.

The eclipse will be visible in the regions of New Zealand, eastern Melanesia, southern Polynesia, and western Antarctica, the BMD said.

It will last for 4 hours and 24 minutes as it will begin at 11:29pm on 21 September and end at 3:53am on 22 September. The greatest eclipse will occur at 1:41am on 22 September.
