Bangladesh Police has released a recruitment advertisement for the position of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) at the district level. Interested candidates can apply online. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary along with various benefits as per the institution’s policies. The application deadline is March 18, 2025.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Age Limit:
Candidates should be between 18 to 20 years of age.
Nationality:
Candidates must be permanent residents of Bangladesh.
Marital Status:
Candidates must be unmarried. Divorced candidates are not eligible.
Physical Eligibility:
- Male candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches for general category candidates. For Freedom Fighters, martyrs’ children, and indigenous people, the minimum height is 5 feet 4 inches. For physically disabled and third-gender candidates, rules will be followed accordingly.
- Female candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches for general category candidates. For Freedom Fighters, martyrs’ children, and indigenous people, the minimum height is 5 feet 2 inches. For physically disabled and third-gender candidates, rules will be followed accordingly.
Chest Measurement:
- For general and indigenous candidates: 31 inches in normal position and 33 inches when expanded.
- For children of Freedom Fighters, martyrs, and war heroines: 30 inches in normal position and 31 inches when expanded.
Weight:
Weight should be in proportion to age and height.
Vision:
Candidates must have 6/6 vision.
