The Bangladesh Police has called for uploading still images and video footage of violent incidents against students and the public during the July-August movement on the “Andoloner Chobi” website.
A post related to this was shared on the verified Facebook page of Bangladesh Police on Sunday (February 9).
The post states that, in order to collect evidence and digital proof of the attacks, murders, and shootings during the July-August movement, still images and video footage captured on personal mobile phones/cameras from July 1 to August 5, 2024, should be uploaded to the “Andoloner Chobi” website (andolonerchobi.police.gov.bd).
The police further mentioned that individuals can upload a maximum of one still image or video per hour and up to five per day using a mobile number. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number of the uploader before each file upload. The uploaded files can be viewed by logging in with the mobile number of the uploader.
The police’s acebook post also stated that the website will be open for uploading still images and video footage from February 11 to February 25, 2025.
