Kagiso Rabada delivered a sensational performance in the Test Championship final, taking five wickets as Australia were bowled out for just 212 runs. Rabada, who opened the bowling, dismissed Usman Khawaja for a duck and returned to take the final wicket of Mitchell Starc, securing his 17th five-wicket haul in Test cricket.

With this spell, Rabada surpassed Allan Donald’s 330 wickets to become South Africa’s second-highest wicket-taker in Tests with 332. Only Shaun Pollock, Makhaya Ntini, and Dale Steyn (439) remain ahead of him.

Australia struggled throughout the innings at Lord’s. The opening pair of Khawaja and Labuschagne survived the early overs but failed to score quickly, managing only 12 runs off 40 balls before Rabada broke through.

After dismissing Cameron Green in the same over, Rabada handed control to his teammates. Marco Jansen chipped in with crucial wickets of Labuschagne (17) and Travis Head (11). The only resistance came from Steve Smith and Beau Webster, who added 79 runs for the fifth wicket. Smith scored 66, while Webster top-scored with 72 off 92 balls.

Australia’s innings collapsed quickly after their dismissals. Rabada finished with 5 wickets, while Jansen took 3, and Maharaj and Markram picked up one each.
