Light to moderate rainfall is likely in the Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said on Sunday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” according to the release issued Sunday morning.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the release added.
Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is sweeping over the Khulna division and the districts of Rajshahi, Rangpur and Panchagarh and it may continue.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly all over the country. Rainfall activity may increase over the next five days, and temperatures may fall.
