BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that emergence of a new kind of spirit in the name of religion is being observed.
He also stated that people from a specific organisation are present everywhere.
The BNP leader made these remarks on Saturday (16 August) at a discussion and prayer event organised at the capital’s Press Club to mark the anniversary of the July-August mass uprising and the fall of fascism.
During the July-August movement, children and teenagers came down to the streets like flocks of Ababil birds, paving a way for our freedom and the freedom of democracy, Rizvi added.
At that time, he questioned why there are allegations of extortion against those who led the movement? So is Sheikh Hasina being repeated again?
