Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Grigoryevich Khazin held a meeting with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party’s political office in Gulshan on Sunday.
The meeting between the Russian envoy and the BNP leader began on Sunday at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Confirming the development, BNP’s media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan stated that Ambassador Khazin met with Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul to discuss matters of mutual interest.
Alongside the party’s Secretary General, BNP Standing Committee member and Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was present at the meeting. Also in attendance were BNP Organizing Secretary and member of the Chairperson’s Special Advisory Committee on Foreign Policy, Shama Obaid.
Party sources hinted that the meeting focused on current political developments and international diplomatic relations involving Bangladesh.
