Popular Indian television actress Sara Khan has tied the knot for the second time. After nearly a year of dating, the 35-year-old actress legally married actor and producer Krish Pathak on October 6.
Sara, who is three years older than her husband, chose Krish as her life partner despite facing social media criticism over their age difference. The actress, however, remains unfazed by the remarks.
Sharing the news on social media, Sara wrote, “Two faiths, one love — we’ll take the seven vows this December.” The couple plans to hold a formal wedding ceremony in December, following rituals from both religions.
“I was always waiting for someone who could truly understand me,” Sara said. “I feel as if our bond goes beyond just this lifetime.”
According to sources, Sara and Krish first met on a dating app, where their friendship soon blossomed into love. Krish, who is also an actor and producer, said they both wanted to leave behind the pain of their past lives and start anew.
Sara Khan rose to fame through popular television dramas such as Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, Ram Milaayi Jodi, and Sasural Simar Ka. She was previously married to actor Ali Merchant in 2010, but the couple divorced the following year.
Speaking about her new beginning, Sara said, “This is not just a marriage — it’s a fresh start to my life. If you are patient, the right person will come along. Krish is living proof of that.”
