A coordinator of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement (ADSM), Sarjis Alam, was injured in a private car accident near Dhaka University. The incident occurred around 9:15pm on Wednesday in front of the British Council near Dhaka University.
He was rescued in an injured condition and brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment that night. Shubho Howlader, a student of the university’s Amar Ekushey, who accompanied him to the hospital, said that Sarjis Alam was driving through Dhaka University on his way to the central office of Banglamotor. As he approached the British Council, a child ran in front of the car.

According to doctors, there is no serious issue with his eye or head. After receiving primary treatment, he was sent home.
