The blast at the sawmill left 2 people dead and 2 others injured on Tuesday afternoon in Jhenaidah district.
Milton and Ram, the deceased workers were aged 28 and 40 respectively.
Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Kotchandpur Police Station, Inspector Kabir said that incident occurred due to overheating of the main machine inside the kiln – causing a big blast.
The injured workers are currently admitted at and receiving medical attention from the Jessore General Hospital – the OC informed.
