Beloved Dhallywood actress Shabnur made a sudden, secret visit to Dhaka, staying for only eight hours, just to bring her ailing mother to Australia for urgent medical treatment.
Long absent from the silver screen, popular actress Shabnur has been residing in Australia for several years. Though she stays connected with fans through social media, her physical presence in Dhaka has become rare. But this time, her visit was fueled by emergency and deep emotional urgency.
Speaking to the media, Shabnur revealed that her mother had been suffering from various health complications for over a month. Despite consultations with renowned doctors in Dhaka, her condition only worsened. On March 28, her mother became so unwell that she lost the ability to speak.
“I managed to get a ticket with great difficulty and flew to Dhaka with just the clothes I was wearing,” said Shabnur. “It was a time of extreme distress, I couldn’t inform anyone.”
After arriving in Dhaka, she wasted no time. She packed her mother’s belongings and rushed back to Sydney. Her mother was immediately admitted to a hospital there, and her condition started improving from the very next day. Now, Shabnur confirms, her mother is fully recovered.
She added, “Doctors in Dhaka kept suggesting endless tests. I couldn’t trust the system anymore. I knew I had to take her with me immediately.”
