Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is set to make his Hollywood debut in an upcoming crime thriller directed by Bangladeshi-origin filmmaker Asif Akbar.
The director, known for works like Boneyard, Astro, and The Commando, confirmed that Shakib has been cast as the lead in the film, which is currently in the scripting stage.
“The film will feature two lead actresses—one from Bangladesh and the other from Hollywood,” Akbar said. He also noted that the antagonist will be a well-known Hollywood actor.
Shakib Khan is expected to travel to the United States early next month to finalise project details. The film is slated for a global release in 2026.
