Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, has directed Starlink to begin commercial satellite broadband internet services in Bangladesh within 90 days.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s Interim Government, has given instructions for the commercial launch of Starlink’s satellite broadband internet services in the country within the next 90 days. The announcement was made by the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, on Tuesday. While Starlink has been using foreign satellite broadband gateways during its test broadcasts, it will switch to local broadband gateways or IIGs as per the NGSO policy when offering commercial services in Bangladesh.
